Why the club matters

Meetings, mentors, and a room full of generous turners keep the club moving

CWT has always been at its best when members bring work, ask questions, share ideas, and help each other make the next piece a little better.

Monthly demonstrations and instant gallery

The monthly meeting is still the heart of the club: demonstrations, announcements, instant gallery critique, and plenty of shop talk before and after the program.

Mentors, classes, and practical references

Between meetings, members lean on mentors, classes, safety notes, and handouts when they want to try something new or sort out a problem at the lathe.

Member work with a real archive behind it

The gallery and newsletter archive show the range of work in the club now, along with the projects, events, and stories that have built up over the years.
